ImageTodne Texeira

Ducati Monster riding, Vanson Leather wearing, female Jazz singer, and friend . . . . need we say more.  Have yourself a listen right here. Susi Ecker Photo.

Frequently gracing the small stages of Boston, Rhode Island, and New York, with her DUCATI motorcycle parked outside, Todne comes from a family of musical women. Her mother, grandmother, and great aunts all played the piano. Her sister play saxophone and French horn. She first explored music through drums, but soon discovered her real passion and natural talent was singing. She drew attention of fellow artists and club owners in the late 90s and had her performance debut with the Hat Field McCoy Trio and the Sentimental Swing Band of Rhode Island. She frequently appears at Boston's Les Zygomates, one of the city's premiere jazz venues. Her blend of classic jazz standards and contemporary favorites promises a smooth-as-caramel voice that soothes, enlivens, and promises relaxation and connection that keeps her fans coming out to her performances time and time again.
